LEARNERS
Whether
you are seventeen, or a bit older, the thought of learning to drive can invoke
wildly differing reactions, from excitement and enthusiasm to one of dread
and reluctance.
Whatever your reason for wanting to learn to
drive you need a good instructor who cannot only teach you a mix of the basics
of car control, hazard perception and good road craft but who can instil confidence
in you as part of equipping you with a life skill.
Remember the 'Drive
to Arrive' motto - "Safe driving - an investment
for life" means just what it says. An investment in your time and in first class training will
ensure that you, your passengers and the people you share the roads with will
be safe for life.

The Driving Standards Agency (DSA) set the criteria for driving tests to
which all Authorised Driving Instructors are obliged to instruct. Some instructors
concentrate solely on getting a learner driver through the driving test.
If you choose to learn with "Drive to Arrive" you will not just
be taught to pass a test but will be equipped to drive safely and with confidence.
Like any other essential skill in life, driving must have a solid foundation
on which to build. Good instruction will give confidence and with experience
the new driver will be able to deal with the stresses and strains when driving
on today's busy roads.
Whilst instruction will be based on the DSA objectives, to ensure that all
skill areas are covered, every person is unique and learns at their own pace.
It is essential therefore that lessons are structured to the needs of the
individual, which is exactly what will happen at "Drive to Arrive".
Each client will have their tuition tailored to address their strengths and
weaknesses so that they progress without feeling frustrated or intimidated.
If you choose 'Drive to Arrive' you are guaranteed instructors
with a wealth of experience in a wide variety of driving and road safety
issues (see ' About Us').
Unlike larger driver schools, which tend to be impersonal, we like to visit
prospective clients to introduce ourselves and to answer any questions and
concerns they may have. This visit is complimentary and you are under no
obligation. Clients therefore have the opportunity to decide if they like
what they see and hear before entering into any formal contract.
You will be taught
in either a Ford Fusion or Seat
Ibiza 1.4 petrol engine car, which are fully
equipped with dual controls.
Lessons can be booked to fit in with your lifestyle
and can be arranged from home, college or work with a different pick up and
drop off point if required. Instruction is on a 'one to one' basis i.e. you
will not have to share the car with other clients as at some other driving
schools.
The "Drive to Arrive" structure of fees include a motorway lesson,
or a discount off the Pass Plus scheme, for clients who have successfully
passed their test with us. |
